Travis Mahoney

PE Capital is proud to sponsor Travis Mahoney an Australian medley and backstroke swimmer. 

At the 2012 World Short Course Championships:

-          Winner of two relay medals

-          Member of the team which broke the world record in the short course mixed 4 x 50 metres freestyle relay.

At the 2014 Commonwealth Games:

-          Finished sixth in the 400m Individual Medley

 

In 2016, Travis qualified for his first Olympic Games.


Travis booked his Olympic debut in Rio with a breakthrough performance on the opening night of the 2016 Nationals where he finished second in the most gruelling of events, the 400m individual medley.  Mahoney finished in a personal best time of 4:14.98s.

 

At the Rio Olympics, Travis won his 400m individual medley heat to make the final, where he finished seventh in a world class field.
