PE Capital is delighted to be a sponsor of swimmer, Travis Mahoney as he makes his Olympic debut in Rio in the coming days. Travis, from Nunawading Swimming Club in Melbourne qualified for the the Olympic team in one of the most gruelling of events, the 400m individual medley. He won his place at the selection trials in Adelaide with a personal best time of 4:14.98s, a time he is hoping to improve on in Rio.
Travis has been a regular in the Australian team in recent years and career highlights to date include:
• World Short Course Championships in Turkey - bronze in the 4x100m freestyle relay and finished 7th in the 200m backstroke.
• 2014 Commonwealth Games - sixth in the 400m Individual Medley with the second fastest time swam by an Australian ever in the heats
• Pan Pacific Games on the Gold Coast - seventh 400m Individual Medley
PE Capital will be cheering Travis on as he competes in Rio on Day 1 of the swimming, Saturday 6th August (Sunday 7th 2:30am AEST).

Travis Mahoney competed in the 400m individual medley in Rio on Saturday 6th August. He swam a great heat, placing 1st, doing a PB by 1.6 sec, earning him a spot in the finals. A great achievement to make the finals where he then placed 7th. Watch Travis' heat here
